The Chopta Tungnath trip is one of the farther straightforward hikes in the Himalayas. How to reach

Haridwar, which is easily accessible by road, rail, and air, is the starting position for the Chopta tungnath trip. Take a drive along National Highway 58, which connects megalopolises and lower cosmopolis to this lovely municipality. Haridwar is a well-connected destination, with multiple buses operating on a regular basis between Delhi and Haridwar. Day 1 For the night, take the train to Haridwar.

Day 2 Drive Haridwar- Sari and hike to Devariyatal 

Day 3 Trek Devariyatal- Chopta

Day 4 Trek Chopta- Tungnath( 3680m), Chandrashila Top( 4130m), and return to Chopta 

Day 5 trip from Chopta to Haridwar and also to New Delhi by train. 

Lodestones 

Haridwar- Haridwar is regarded as one of Uttaranchal’s most important holy spots. Alcohol and non-submissive reflections are not permitted inside Haridwar. Har Ki Pauri, Chandi Devi Temple, Mansa Devi Temple, and other prominent lodestones may be set up across the municipality. In Hindu tradition, it’s one of the seven holiest cosmopolises, with Varanasi being the holiest of them all. 

Devariyatal is a lake located 3 kilometres uphill from Mastura vill on the Chopta road. The lake is recognised for its stunning panoramic views of the girding mountains, including Chaukhamba. In Hindu tradition, Devariyatal is known as the notorious Indra taal, where the Pandavas were questioned by the god Indra. 

Chopta- Chopta, a pristine natural beauty destination nestled in the Uttarakhand Himalayas, offers stirring views of the majestic Himalayan range, which includes Trishul, Nanda Devi, and Chaukhamba. It’s well- known as the starting point for the Tungnath trip. From March to May, the climate in Chopta is cool and affable, attracting a large number of travellers to this little- given hill station. The sky is clear and the peaks are easily visible during this time, making it an ideal time to visit Chopta for the Tungnath trip. 

Tunganath – Tungnath is the world’s topmost Shiva temple and one of the five Panch Kedar.

The journey takes you from Haridwar to Devariyatal Lake, which is 2440 metres above sea level. You’ll pass formerly Chopta, which stands tall at 3000 metres and has beautiful quiet surroundings, as you continue on your trip. Continue on your trip to Tungnath, which sits at a shifting elevation of 3680 metres, and also to the fabulous Chandrashila Top, which is at 4130 metres.
