AirPods are one of the coolest products that Apple has ever released, but that doesn’t mean they’re perfect. While you can use your AirPods with your iPhone and even other devices through the magic of Bluetooth, there are limitations to using them with other devices, particularly computers. To connect your AirPods to your laptop, follow these steps! If you are gaming lover and you like to play high level games , I have a best gaming laptop with thunderbolt 3
Plug your AirPods in
The first step toward connecting your AirPods to your laptop is—you guessed it—plugging them in. Make sure that both AirPods are fully charged before you start. Then, connect them via Bluetooth. Open up your Settings app, tap on Bluetooth and select your headphones from the list of available devices. Now all you have to do is wait for a prompt that asks if you want to pair with one or both of your AirPods and then enter a code on either of your headphones. Don’t worry; it’s super easy! If you’re having trouble connecting them, check out Apple’s support page on pairing or call their tech support number at 1-800-692-7753.
Connect them via Bluetooth
Once you’ve gone through pairing your AirPods, you can connect them via Bluetooth on your laptop. You may want to download a dedicated app that allows for greater control over all of your sound settings; if you do, search for Bluetooth and see what comes up. For example, many laptops come with basic built-in software that allows you to adjust volume levels as well as add Bluetooth devices and make changes in system settings. Mac computers will have additional functions specific to iTunes. No matter which computer system you use, however, pairing is usually very simple: just follow your computer’s instructions for pairing Bluetooth devices with it and enter a passcode if necessary.
Airfoil is a nifty little app that lets you stream audio wirelessly from any audio source on your Mac or PC to your AirPods. It’s particularly useful for streaming from internet radio, Spotify, or Pandora; whether you’re working in another room or just want to play a certain song throughout your house, it’s an easy way to send tunes straight into your ears. Download it here (Mac only).
Go to Preferences
When you want to connect your AirPods to your laptop, make sure that Bluetooth is enabled on both devices. Head into System Preferences > Bluetooth and click on Show: Available Devices. Select your AirPods from the list, then enter a passcode (if prompted). On Android devices, open Settings > Wireless & Networks > Bluetooth; turn it on if it isn’t already, then select Bluetooth settings from within.
Select Audio Source Section: Select AirFoil Speakers
Click your system’s Sound Preferences menu and choose AirFoil Speakers as your audio output device. In most cases, you can just click System Preferences on your Mac’s dock and then click Sound (macOS) or Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Manage Audio Devices on Windows. From there, select AirFoil Speakers from either list. You’ll need a set of headphones or speakers connected to your laptop for AirFoil to work properly. (If you’re using a Mac, you’ll have to make sure that Bluetooth is turned on.) After selecting your AirPods as an audio output source, you should be able to play music or video through them without any problems.
AirPods connect to your laptop using Bluetooth, so all you need to do is make sure your computer is able to utilize that wireless connection and then pair it with your AirPods. If you haven’t used Bluetooth on your computer before, simply click Start > Settings > Devices. In here, click Add a device, choose your headphones from under Other devices, and then follow any additional prompts. Once connected, you should be good to go! Click Start > Control Panel and look for an icon labeled Headphones in Sound Playback Devices or Sounds Audio Playback Devices depending on whether or not you have other playback devices (like speakers) connected.
